NEW BRITAIN, Conn., July 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of
Directors of The Stanley Works (NYSE: SWK) announced that Justin C. Boswell,
President -- Stanley Security Solutions, has been elected a Vice President and
executive officer of the corporation.
Mr. Boswell joined Stanley in April, 2000 as President of Stanley Access
Technologies. Since that time, he and his team have executed the repositioning
of the Stanley portfolio into the access security market through several key
acquisitions. Stanley Security Solutions is now an emerging leader in the
industry and a growth platform for The Stanley Works.

Prior to joining Stanley, Justin enjoyed a 10-year career with General

multi-vendor service business. Justin holds a B.A. in Finance and Marketing
from The University of Texas and an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen
School of Business.
