Reno Air Announces New Fall Schedule

        New Nonstop Service Between Burbank and San Jose, Four Flights
       Two New Daily Nonstop Flights Between Orange County and Seattle
      New Daily Nonstop Service Between Los Angeles and Colorado Springs

    RENO, Nev., July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In its fall schedule adjustment, Reno
Air, Inc. (Nasdaq: RENO) (PCX: RNO) today announced it will begin new service
to Burbank, Calif. effective October 1 with four daily nonstop flights between
San Jose and Burbank.
    Reno Air also announced it will begin new nonstop service between Orange
County and Seattle with two daily nonstop flights available on September 15
with both a morning and evening flight.  Additionally, Reno Air will add a
daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Colorado Springs, complementing
its four one-stops.
    "This fall schedule builds our market presence in San Jose and Southern
California," said Reno Air Senior Vice President Joanne Smith.  "We are
focusing on strengthening business markets with our service and schedules
specifically geared toward the corporate traveler."
    Continuing its efforts to maximize profitability, the airline will reduce
its fleet by one aircraft and further fine tune its schedule to reallocate
resources to its most productive routes.
    Reno Air currently serves 15 cities with more than 200 peak daily
scheduled departures.  The carrier's state-of-the-art fleet of 28 MD-80 and
MD-90 series jets have an average age of approximately six years, one of the
youngest all-jet fleets in the industry.  Reno Air offers everyday low fares,
