processor, the FX510XG or FX510XT models can be configured with an Intel
Core 2 Extreme processor X6800 with 1066MHz FSB and 4MB L2 cache; these PCs
include a utility that allows over-clocking for maximum performance. The
FX510 utilizes an Intel(R) 975X Express chipset with support for RAID 0 and
1 configurations with fast SATA II/300 hard disk drives.
The FX510 Series can be configured with dual ATI CrossFire graphic
cards, adding vibrant color and rich detail to games and digital media. The
high-performance multi-GPU and motherboard power of ATI RADEON x1900
CrossFire Edition Graphics provide the highest image quality and screen
resolutions possible, even with the most demanding 3-D titles. In addition
to standard 7.1 audio support, the Gateway FX510 Series comes with the
option of a Creative(R) Sound Blaster(R) X-Fi Audio card for high fidelity

architecture more effectively cools internal components, allowing it to

Security Suite(TM) (Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Anti-Spyware, Firewall and
Parental Control)(3). A pro-active service tool called BigFix(R) is
included at no charge on all Gateway systems(4). With the customer's
permission, BigFix identifies and sends messages offering updates to
enhance the performance or capabilities of the PC.
