RESTON, Va., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company has appointed Ron
Ross vice president of Raytheon Information Solutions (RIS). In this capacity
he will provide leadership and strategic direction to RIS -- Raytheon's
consolidated Information Technology (IT) capability. Ross will focus on
driving customer-focused industry best practices and best of breed IT
solutions that enable federal agency mission objectives.

Ross brings to Raytheon more than 35 years of experience delivering IT
solutions to the federal government, including nearly 20 years working on
assignments in defense and intelligence agencies. Prior to joining Raytheon,
Ross was president of Scientific and Engineering Solutions, a provider of
information technology services to the federal government. Previously, Ross
was president of Compaq Federal LLC, where he led all activities related to
the company's sales of products, services, and solutions to U.S. government
agencies worldwide. Earlier in his career, Ross served as president and chief
operating officer of CACI International and held a series of executive
positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, including president of the
company's defense/intelligence business.

Ross will leverage his federal IT market knowledge in his new role --

support federal agency mission objectives. Solution areas include: Enterprise
Modernization, Knowledge Management, Security, Infrastructure Management, High
Performance Data, E-Government, and Logistics Management.

of Governors for the USO Worldwide Organization.
