BOISE, Idaho, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Boise Cascade Corporation
(NYSE: BCC) announced today that Warren F. Bryant has been elected to serve on
the company's board of directors. Mr. Bryant, 58, is the chairman of the
board, president, and chief executive officer of Longs Drug Stores
Corporation. Mr. Bryant joined Longs Drug Stores in 2002. Prior to 2002,
Mr. Bryant held senior executive positions at Dillon Companies and The Kroger
Co., including senior vice president of the western region.
Mr. Bryant will serve on the company's Audit Committee, Governance and
Nominating Committee, and Committee of Outside Directors.
