W.W. Grainger, Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend
 
    CHICAGO, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The directors of W.W. Grainger, Inc.
today declared a quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share payable September 1,
1998 to shareholders of record August 10, 1998.
    This 15 cents per share rate is equivalent to the 30 cents quarterly rate
paid prior to the 2-for-1 stock split effective at the close of business on
May 11, 1998.
