COLUMBUS, Ohio, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Nationwide Financial Services,
Inc. (NYSE: NFS) announced that Larry Milder has joined the company to lead
sales in the independent channel.
Milder will be responsible for annuity, life insurance and pension plan
sales activities within the independent broker-dealer channel, and will
assist with the development and marketing of new products.

valuable asset as we continue to strengthen relationships with our business

Milder comes to Nationwide Financial from MFS Investment Management,
where most recently he served as senior vice president and director of
national sales, overseeing retail distribution of mutual funds, annuities
and separately managed accounts to independent, bank and insurance broker
dealers. Prior to MFS he was a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch.
He holds undergraduate degrees in history and psychology from American
International College and completed the course requirements in the master's
program at the Boston University School of Public Communications before
joining ABC News as an associate producer.
