(NYSE: SNY) (SOCO) today announced the hiring of John H. Karnes as Vice
President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Mr. Karnes comes to Snyder with over 15 years of business and legal
experience. Mr. Karnes has served as General Counsel in several large,
publicly traded corporations and most recently served as Senior Vice President
for FirstPlus Financial Group in Dallas, Texas. He has represented a variety
of entities in the oil and gas industry, including Apache Corporation, where
he previously served as Deputy General Counsel. Mr. Karnes earned a B.A. in
Business Administration from the University of Texas and a J.D. from Southern
Methodist University School of Law.
