The (Chocolate) Chips Will Fly at Wisconsin State Fair

     Midwest Airlines Activity Stage to Feature Travel Events and Family
                                Entertainment

    MILWAUKEE, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Stop by the new Midwest
Airlines Activity Stage at this year's Wisconsin State Fair and you'll see
everything from performing canines to wrist wrestling and fiddling
competitions to a cookie bake-off.  And if you join in or sign up for the
airline's sponsored contests and giveaways, you could win a case of chocolate
chip cookies, roundtrip tickets, frequent flyer miles or the grand prize, a
two-day Midwest Airlines Vacations package to Orlando for two.  Midwest
Airlines earned its reputation as "The best care in the air" by providing
passengers with impeccable service and onboard amenities, which include its
hallmark baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies on most flights.
    The Midwest Airlines Activity Stage is located in the Exposition Center
and will offer both travel events and family entertainment throughout the
Fair, which runs August 4-14.  A typical day may feature an appearance by 2005
Fairest of the Fairs Susan Orth, a live broadcast by News/Talk 1130 Steve "The
Homer" True, an annual Fair contest such as the popular Bench Press/Deadlift
competition or a performance by Trinity Irish Dancers.  Midwest Airlines'
events will highlight the airline's onboard amenities and travel programs.

    Best Care Cuisine
    Watch Chef Shawn Monroe demonstrate cooking techniques for preparing Best
Care Cuisine menu selections.  Samples will be served.  Best Care Cuisine,
Midwest Airline's new fresh and contemporary buy-onboard meal service, is
exclusively prepared by Chef Shawn Monroe and his staff from Milwaukee's
Mader's Restaurant.
     Thursday, August 4, 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
     Saturday, August 6, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.


    Vacations and Specialty Travel
    Join a rousing game show contest and learn more about Midwest Airlines'
air-inclusive vacation packages, discounted group travel and convenient
charter services.  Participants can win a variety of prizes, including two
roundtrip tickets on Midwest Airlines.

    Paws and Tails, a canine performing troupe, will amaze you with their
tricks and stunts.  Plus, meet two- and four-legged representatives of Midwest

    Chocolate Chip Cookie Contest
    Be on hand as 25 winning bakers from past State Fair competitions put
their best chocolate chip cookie recipes to the test.  Cookies will be judged
by Tim Hoeksema, Midwest Airlines chairman and chief executive officer, and
the winner will receive two roundtrip tickets on Midwest Airlines.
