Chicagoland-based OfficeMax(R) is bringing its hometown business neighbors the
solution with a new downtown "mini" version of OfficeMax's large-scale office
supply stores, OfficeMax Express, which will open Monday, Aug. 9 across from
Daley Center.
The new, 3,000-square-foot OfficeMax Express at 25 W. Washington Street
will focus on serving the downtown business district with free, 3-hour
delivery service of the top 2,000 office products ordered by Chicago
companies. It offers CopyMax(R) full-service copying, printing and binding
services, business concierge service and fast, free delivery with no minimum
purchase via the OfficeMax Express MINI Cooper. Through partnerships with
outlying OfficeMax stores, OfficeMax Express also can deliver special orders
of non-stock items within one day.

little time as possible shopping for office supplies," said Chris Milliken,

customers save time with our convenient downtown locations, free fast delivery

The new store will celebrate its grand opening Aug. 9 with help from the
popular "RubberBand Man" from OfficeMax's Emmy-nominated national advertising
campaign. The character, who has struck a chord with consumers, will cut the
ribbon on the new store and toss office supplies to passersby.
The first OfficeMax Express of its kind opened in Chicago last December at
307 N. Michigan Avenue. The new OfficeMax Express marks the second OfficeMax
concept store in the country.
