Dr. Houran spearheads a team of psychologists and relationship experts at
TRUEBeginnings that provide counseling and relationship advice and supervise
the company's compatibility solutions that help members establish successful,
lasting relationships. Houran's responsibilities include counseling members,
managing the company's interpersonal assessment tests, acting as an author and
speaker educating technical and general audiences and conducting research on
interpersonal relationships.

Houran has a deep history in psychological research and is an accomplished

Houran also currently serves as vice president and research social
scientist for Integrated Knowledge Systems. Previously, Houran served as an
instructor of clinical psychiatry at Southern Illinois School of Medicine and
has previously worked as a therapist and a mental health counselor. Houran
received a doctorate in psychology from Adelaide University and completed
extracurricular graduate work for the Psychology Department of the University
of Illinois, Springfield, where he received his master's in clinical
psychology. Houran received a bachelor's in psychology from Benedictine
University.
