MON) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly
dividend on its common stock of 24 cents per share. The dividend relates to
the company's fourth quarter of its 2008 fiscal year. The dividend is
payable on October 24, 2008, to shareowners of record on October 3, 2008.
