Susan Duke Recognized By IREM
COLUMBIA, S.C., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Susan Duke of Edens & Avant/The
Necessity Retail Company, has been awarded the CPM (CERTIFIED PROPERTY
MANAGER) designation by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an
affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS.
Duke, a Real Estate Investment Analyst, joined Edens & Avant in 1997 with
responsibility for handling the analysis and recommendations associated with
the Company's aggressive retail acquisitions program. In addition to
coordinating and working on the acquisition of 175 shopping centers, Duke has
also been involved with the Company's strategic property dispositions program.
A native of Texas, Duke has more than 20 years experience in retail
leasing and property management, and asset management. She holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree from Texas Tech University, in Lubbock.
Real estate managers who have met IREM's rigorous requirements in the
areas of professional real estate education and experience, and who pledge to
abide by a strict code of professional ethics earn the CPM designation.
