    MIAMI, Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Burger King Corporation is deeply saddened
by the events that occurred in Deltona, Florida and the tragic loss of members
of the BURGER KING family who were employed by a local franchisee.  We extend
our most heart-felt condolences to the families, friends and co-workers of all
of the victims.  The franchisee is working with local authorities and Burger
King Corporation is supporting the franchisee and his team through this very
difficult time.
