Fleet One 'Over The Road' Card Now Accepted at Motel 6

Card for Fuel, Maintenance, Road Purchases Now Covers
                          Nationwide Lodging as Well

    NASHVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Long-haul drivers who carry a
Fleet One "Over The Road" card can now stop at a Motel 6, charge the stay to
their card, and be in a room minutes after a long day on the road. Partnering
with more than 850 Motel 6 locations across the country, Fleet One has added
lodging to the list of purchases that can be made with Over The Road cards.
"This partnership is a win-win-win," said Fleet One President and Chief
Executive Officer Andy Roberts. "Drivers get a reliable and comfortable place
to rest, fleet managers benefit from the timely transaction information our
program provides, and Motel 6 earns new business and utilizes its truck
parking at hundreds of properties."
Whereas drivers typically pay for lodging out of pocket and must provide
time-consuming verification information at check-in, Fleet One's partnership
with Motel 6 allows drivers to book a room without additional information by
simply swiping the Over The Road card. Payment is drawn from the cash advance
balance of the driver's card or from the driver's payroll card account. Fleet
managers receive information about lodging transactions when they occur,
rather than weeks later -- a feature that supports more accurate and timely
accounting.
Prior to the partnership with Motel 6, Fleet One enhanced the Over The
Road program by partnering with a "Plus Network" of more than 3,000 quality
truck stops and travel centers that now accept the Over The Road card for
payment with no fuel transaction fees.
"Being able to pay for motel rooms is just one more practical feature that
makes our Over The Road card so useful," added Roberts.
"Our focus on providing an excellent value for our customers is a key
component of our marketing strategy. The combination of this customer service
enhancement with our pricing results in a great benefit for everyone," said
Kelly Schiliro, Vice President of Sales for Accor Lodging North America, which
operates Motel 6.
Used by Class 7 and 8 long-haul truckers, the Fleet One Over The Road
program offers numerous services, including enhanced purchasing power for fuel
and maintenance, private label programs, data capture, permit services,
accounts receivable financing and web hosting and design. The cards also
provide ATM service for authorized cardholders, payroll services, insurance
coverage and more.
