BOISE, Idaho, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Boise Cascade Corporation
(NYSE: BCC) announced today that George J. Harad, Boise's chairman and chief
executive officer, will host an investor webcast on Wednesday,
August 11, 2004, beginning at 12 noon (Eastern daylight time). The webcast
will introduce the new OfficeMax, Inc., which will consist of Boise's contract
office products distribution business and OfficeMax retail office products
business when the sale of Boise's paper, forest products, and timberland
assets is completed by mid-November 2004.
