MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Infinity, a SunGard
company, today announced the appointment of Joseph Erickson to senior vice
president of worldwide professional services. Infinity is the leading
provider of enterprise solutions for financial trading, risk management and
operations.
Erickson joins Infinity from the risk strategy consulting practice of
KPMG, one of the world's most prestigious professional services firms. In his
newly-created position, Erickson will be responsible for leading and expanding
a worldwide professional services organization that provides consulting,
training and implementation services to Infinity's extensive international
client base. Erickson will also oversee Infinity's network of third-party
systems integrators and consultants.
Erickson, who has more than 20 years of industry experience, will report
directly to Michael Laven, Infinity's president and chief operating officer.

Previously, Erickson was the partner in charge of KPMG's U.S. risk
strategy consulting practice and chairman of KPMG GlobeRisk, an international
consulting network addressing market and credit risk management and control,
risk measurement methodologies and risk-adjusted performance measures.
Erickson also directed KPMG's executive educational program and instructed
courses on financial risk management and currency risk management.
