OfficeMax's Ability to Provide Cost Savings and Services for BURGER KING(R)
Franchisees Nationwide and Burger King Corporation Key to Winning Account

ITASCA, Ill., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- OfficeMax(R) announced today that it
had been awarded a national contract with Restaurant Services Inc. (RSI) under
which Burger King Corporation and BURGER KING(R) restaurant operators across
the United States may purchase items ranging from office supplies and paper,
to furniture and technology products. The contract provides significant cost
savings, ordering incentives, next-day delivery on most orders and the
convenience of nearly 1,000 retail locations nationwide, as well as convenient
and secure on-line ordering through RSI's Supply Chain Portal, RSIWEB.COM.
The selection of OfficeMax reflects the company's ability to provide
solutions, both at a corporate and restaurant level, that address the total
cost of office supply purchasing, including convenience, productivity and
price. In addition, Burger King Corporation and its franchisees will receive
contract pricing at OfficeMax retailers nationwide.
"On behalf of the BURGER KING system, we look forward to a relationship
with OfficeMax that satisfies the office supply needs of all restaurants and
corporate offices," said Barry Barnett, RSI's VP of Equipment & Facilities.
"We expect the company's commitment to customer service and next-day delivery,
as well as their extensive product knowledge, to deliver significant
benefits."
OfficeMax representatives will be contacting BURGER KING franchise and
corporate offices to further support the program rollout, provide training and
explain the many benefits offered under RSI contract to the BURGER KING
system.
"We are proud to begin a relationship with the BURGER KING(R) system,"
said Chris Milliken, division president and CEO of OfficeMax. "The contract is
a positive reflection of OfficeMax's proven track record of supplying quality
products, strong customer service, next-day delivery and competitive pricing."
