Global environmental company recognized for environmental health and safety
performance
WESTFORD, Mass., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- ENSR, a leading global
environmental company, has received an ExxonMobil Asia Pacific safety award
and letter of commendation for its multi-year contract remediation project
safety performance in Malaysia. ENSR was given the ExxonMobil Asia Pacific
award for two years of incident/injury free performance of environmental
site investigation and remediation on its Malaysia projects. The award was
presented to ENSR Malaysia general manager, Alex Leong, by Mike Achacoso,
ExxonMobil's Asia Pacific downstream and chemical safety health and
environmental manager. ENSR employees also received other safety
recognition awards as part of the ExxonMobil loss prevention system (LPS)
program.
ENSR's three-year contract with ExxonMobil Malaysia includes site
investigation and remediation for all ExxonMobil retail service stations
and depots in Malaysia. The sole-source provider for this work, ENSR's
contract began in July 2004, and concludes in July 2007.
According to Mr. Khairuddin, ExxonMobil's loss prevention system
assessor, "ENSR is one of the best performers in LPS implementation among
ExxonMobil's downstream contractors in Malaysia." Leong adds, "We have
completed almost 50 projects for ExxonMobil over the past two years and are
