DETROIT, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- IABC/Detroit, one of the largest chapters
of the International Association of Business Communicators, recently elected
its board of directors for 2003-2004. The organization links communicators in
a global network that inspires, establishes and supports the highest
professional standards of quality and innovation in organizational
communication.
In announcing that for the first time the chapter would have a Chief
Communications Officer, 2003-2004 IABC/Detroit President Cindy Orlandi, APR,
said, "Jackie McClure, president of JCI Design in Dearborn, was a logical
choice when I was looking among the many highly qualified candidates to assume
the new role of CCO and Brand Manager for IABC/Detroit."
The officers of IABC/Detroit are actively involved in the IABC's
international activities. "Lynn Baldwin of Towers Perrin in Southfield, who
will serve as vice president and chief strategic officer, attended the
organization's International Leadership Conference in Las Vegas in February
and brought back some wonderful ideas that we'll be implementing in our
chapter," Orlandi added.
