MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ --
Health Fitness Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: HFIT) has promoted James
Narum and David Hurt to Senior Vice President of Operations, placing them in
charge of operation of all of Health Fitness' business lines across the
country. The company has also added Richard DeRosset and Jeff Newkirk as Vice
Presidents of New Business Development.
Narum, who has been responsible for the company's corporate fitness
operations, assumes responsibility for all lines of business in the eastern
half of the United States. Hurt, who has been responsible for all of Health
Fitness' hospital-based business, will now be responsible for all lines of
Health Fitness' businesses in the western half of the U.S.
In announcing the promotions and new duties, Health Fitness CEO Jerry
Noyce said, "This realignment of senior executive responsibilities will enable
us to share operational expertise across all lines of business and to focus on
further developing the major geographic markets we serve."
DeRosset was previously Midwest Regional Sales Manager for the Wellbridge
Company and had management responsibility for the Northwest Athletic Clubs
Sales team. At Health Fitness, he will be responsible for new business
development across all lines of business.
Newkirk was most recently Director of Wellness Center Services at
Northwest Community Healthcare in suburban Chicago where he was responsible
for the profitable operation of two large multi-purpose health and fitness
facilities. Among his other responsibilities at Health Fitness, he will serve
as hospital and community services consultant.
