Company to Provide State-of-the-Art Managed Communications Services for
Scorpion Offshore's Global Rig Fleet
HOUSTON, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- RigNet, Inc., a leading global
provider of managed communications services for the upstream oil and gas
industry, today announced it has been selected by Scorpion Offshore Ltd.
("Scorpion") to provide managed communications services for its inaugural
fleet of ultra- premium jackup offshore rigs.
Under the terms of the agreement, RigNet will provide complete managed
communication services that include IP-based voice and high-speed data
communications as well as 24/7 remote network monitoring and technical
support. RigNet will also provide local field support as needed wherever
the rigs are deployed worldwide.

Scorpion is currently constructing five ultra-premium LeTourneau Super
116 jackup rigs. Delivery of the rigs will begin in Q2 2007 and continue

performance.
