Key Launches Include Jeff Foxworthy Licensed Game, Lil' Lucy(TM) And
   Arishinko(TM) Bonus Games, Millioni$er(R) Hyperlink(R), Dollar Storm(R),
                                  And more!

Over 70% of Games on Show Floor Will Be Approved and Ready for Sale

LAS VEGAS, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., the
United States subsidiary of global gaming leader Aristocrat Leisure Limited
(ASX: ALL), announced today that it plans to showcase 140 innovative games and
new gaming technology at the 2003 Global Gaming Expo (G2E), including its new
licensed video slot Jeff Foxworthy(TM) You Might Be A Redneck If ... (R) and a
patented new Hyperlink progressive called Millioni$er that offers players the
chance to win $1 million on a penny slot game.
Aristocrat also announced that Comedian Jeff Foxworthy would make a guest
appearance in Aristocrat's exhibit on Tuesday, September 16 for the launch of
Aristocrat's new game.
"We have never launched such a large portfolio of games and systems
technology, with over 70 percent of the games already approved and available
for sale on the show floor," said Gavin Isaacs, President of Aristocrat
Technologies, Inc. "Our game development teams have outdone themselves this
year with an array of exciting games, progressives, and a full portfolio of
value-added products, much of it developed in the United States specifically
for the American market."
Isaacs continued, "We're delivering product that is truly at the forefront
of where the industry is moving, including a full line of penny slots and
technology developed to keep the industry's increasing base of repeat or
'locals' players challenged and excited."
A key product that Aristocrat will launch is the Company's first foray
into licensed, branded games. Aristocrat will unveil its Jeff Foxworthy You
Might Be A Redneck If ... video slot, a hysterical, five-reel, 20-line game
based on the famous comedian's humor. The game features Foxworthy's voice and
likeness combined with an array of fun symbols including an outhouse,
moonshine jug, beer can, and a vintage pickup truck. Through an ante bet
random trigger Jeff Foxworthy's face can appear to offer players one of five
different bonus games.
"Aristocrat has always been successful at creating its own 'brands,' such
as our highly recognizable Mr. Cashman(TM) and our Cash Express(R) Hyperlink,"
said Kent Young, Vice President, Marketing. "Now we've expanded our own
brands with Foxworthy, a name which enjoys widespread recognition and appeal."
Another exciting product slated for launch at G2E is Aristocrat's newest
Hyperlink progressive product, Millioni$er, which offers players the chance to
win $1 million on a penny slot. Millioni$er can function as both a single-
site and wide-area progressive link. Like Aristocrat's other Hyperlink
products, Cash Express and Jackpot Carnival(TM), the patented Millioni$er
concept is featured on proven MKVI(TM) video slots and offers plenty of
interactive game play with random bonuses, a high-hit frequency, and patented
touch-screen-based second screen bonuses featuring spinning coin animations.
On the heels of its highly successful Mr. Cashman bonus game released at
the 2002 G2E, Aristocrat will introduce for the first time at this year's show
its newest bonus game, Lil' Lucy, a devilishly cute character who, through an
ante bet random trigger can appear after any game to give players' credit
meters an extra boost. Featured on a selection of MKVI base games, Lil' Lucy
promises plenty of gaming action with five random, second-screen bonus games,
a high-hit frequency, and incredible graphics.
Aristocrat will also release three new titles on its Reel Power(R)
concept, a globally patented unique game concept where players buy reels
instead of lines. Reel Power games permit players to open up all visible
positions on all 'bought' reels to act as the payline so that 3, 4, and 5 of-
a-kind wins can be won in a scatter formation and more coinciding wins can
occur. Joining Aristocrat's Reel Power series are Ruby Magic(TM), Queen of
Atlantis(TM), and Whales of Cash(R).
Aristocrat created most of its groundbreaking gaming products such as Reel
Power specifically for the growing penny slot market.
"Over 50 percent of our games on the G2E floor will be in the one-cent
denomination, a direct reflection of the industry's move to penny slots as a
way to increase time on device and create more winning excitement for
players," Young said. "As pioneers of the penny slot we've committed
significant R&D resources to developing products for that niche, including
Reel Power, our bonus-bank games such as Mr. Cashman and Lil' Lucy, and our
Cash Express Hyperlink progressives."
At the 2003 G2E show Aristocrat will introduce another breakthrough video
game concept -- Arishinko -- which blends the excitement of pachinko-style
game play with the best features of traditional slot games. In Arishinko
balls are 'launched,' one at a time, to land in a prize bucket to trigger
bonus prizes, multipliers, or entry into a second screen feature.
The Company will also showcase an array of new standalone MKVI slot titles
on its robust MKVI slot platform. Games slated to be introduced include
Aristocrat's MKVI "Classics Series," a selection of its most successful game
titles from earlier slot platforms that includes Queen of the Nile(R), Wild
Cougar(R), K.G. Bird(R), Black Panther(R), Enchanted Forest(R), and Penguin
Pays(R). Other MKVI titles that will be launched at the show include White
Water(TM), Open Sesame(R), Hollywood Dreams(TM), Gemdango(TM), and King of the
Nile(TM), a nine or 20-line game with an up to 25 free games feature.
Aristocrat will also launch Dollar Storm, its first three-line, three-reel
high-denomination progressive.
New stepper titles that will be on display include Ducks In A Row(TM),
Liberty Bell(TM), Bar Hopper(TM), Mo Money(TM), Monster Cash(TM), and Make a
Winner(TM). The Company will also showcase five new poker games.
Aristocrat will display its new technology at the September 16-18 Las
Vegas show in 8,100 square feet of themed exhibit space commemorating the
Company's 50-year anniversary. Aristocrat's booth will feature photos and
artwork depicting the Company's proud past along with four historic Aristocrat
gaming machines first released in 1953.
