The Gateway ProNet Associate Level membership targets solution providers
buying less than $50,000 of Gateway hardware and services per quarter.
Through the new program, resellers can achieve double-digit discounts on
Gateway products, credit terms (for qualified members), access to Gateway's
eSource online quoting tool, participation in product training and webinars,
24x7 technical support and listing in the partner locator on Gateway's
website. In addition, members receive regular communications on Gateway
products, promotions and programs, including monthly e-newsletters and
real-time e-mail blasts.
"This enhancement addresses the unique needs of resellers who remain
focused on serving the SMB market," said Tiffani Bova, Gateway's senior
director of channel sales and marketing. "Small businesses have very specific
needs. Gateway believes that by nurturing solution providers focused on the
SMB space, we can not only serve our customers better, but also help our
channel partners grow and be successful."
For larger resellers, the Gateway ProNet program also offers Member and
Premier Member levels:
* Member Level -- Commercial solution providers earning between $50,000
and $250,000 per quarter receive all the benefits of the Associate
Level, as well as deeper product discounts, 45-day credit terms (for
qualified members), an assigned inside account representative, program
tools and marketing support, access to Gateway's Custom Integration
Services group and joint-selling opportunities.
* Premier Member Level -- By participating in Gateway's most lucrative
level, resellers earning an average of $250,000 per quarter receive
all the benefits of the Associate and Member Levels, as well as
aggressive product discounts, an assigned ProNet inside account
manager and a field representative to assist in selling activities.
The Gateway ProNet program brings together IT value-added resellers (VARs)
and professional audio-video (pro-AV) VARs to integrate Gateway's growing
front- and back-office business product lines for customers. Gateway is
dedicated to helping resellers build complete Gateway business solutions for
their customers -- from four-way servers to ultra-thin plasma TVs.
Resellers are not required to pay program fees to join Gateway ProNet, but
must meet certain requirements, such as completing Gateway program
application, maintaining a minimal average sales volume on Gateway hardware
products and employing a certain number of sales and technical staff.
