Electronic Payments Leader Will Manage PIN-Debit Processing
DENVER, Aug. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- First Data Corp. (NYSE: FDC)
today announced that Debra A. Janssen has joined the company as president of
First Data Debit Services, reporting to Ronald V. Congemi, CEO of First Data
Debit Services. Janssen, with 20 years of payment industry leadership
experience, will manage processing activity.
From 1998-2000 Janssen was president and CEO of eFunds Corporation, a
subsidiary of Deluxe Corporation. She was integral in the start-up of eFunds
Corporation, an electronic payment transaction processing and software company
formed by the integration of five formerly independent companies within Deluxe
Corporation. While there, Janssen directed a $400 million business with
3,000 employees that increased revenue over 30% and operating income 120%.
Janssen's payments career began at Metavante Corporation in 1984.

Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
