CHICAGO, Aug. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Borg-Warner Total Security Solutions
today announced the appointment of Joseph J. Gulinello as executive director,
healthcare and education initiatives, reporting to James F. McNulty,
president. His primary responsibilities will include developing and
implementing the sales and operations strategy for the healthcare and
education markets as well as managing national account relationships for
Borg-Warner Total Security Solutions.
Prior to joining Borg-Warner, Gulinello was president of Integrated
Security Solutions, a New York-based consulting firm providing services
related to security training, education and facility operations at healthcare
institutions. He has held positions as director of security and safety at
major New York healthcare institutions; most notably, he was senior director
of corporate security and hospital police administration for the New York City
Health and Hospitals Corporation. Gulinello began his career in 1967 with the
New York City Police Department. He served in the elite emergency service and
crime scene units at the rank of detective.
Gulinello received his bachelor's degree in criminal psychology and a
master's degree in public administration from John Jay College of Criminal
Justice in 1973 and 1976, respectively. He is chairperson of the Healthcare
Education Committee and member of the Emergency Preparedness Committee for the
National Fire Protection Association, and member of the Healthcare Security
Committee for the American Society for Industrial Security.
