FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Snyder Oil Corporation
(NYSE: SNY) today updated the status of its first upper Jurassic Troy Lime
pinnacle reef test in north Louisiana. The Bozeman et al No. 1 in Winn Parish
has been drilled to its targeted depth of 16,180 feet and logged. The log
results warrant the setting of casing to allow for production testing. The
working interest owners have designated the well as a tight hole and do not
expect to make additional announcements with respect to the well until
definitive results have been determined. It is estimated that this will take
approximately four to six weeks.

interest. Other working interest owners are DDD Energy, Inc. 33-1/3 percent
and Cox & Perkins Exploration, Inc. 33-1/3 percent.
