PennDOT officials will announce the winner of the Fort Pitt 2000 Contest
at noon tomorrow at Point State Park.
The winner will be chosen from thousands of entrants who signed up to win
a tour of the Fort Pitt Bridge work site and the many prizes that are part of
the giveaway package.
PennDOT and Brayman Construction managers will announce the lucky winner
from a concrete mixer.
During the week of Aug. 28, the winner and a guest will be picked up in an
"official" PennDOT crew cab and spirited away to the construction site. The
winner and guest will accompany contractor Brayman Construction on a 30-minute
lunch break and breathtaking tour of the Fort Pitt Bridge.
Members of the media are invited to attend this once-in-a-career event.
