PITTSBURGH, Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- PennDOT officials announce the final
list of prizes to be awarded at noon today to the winner of the Fort Pitt 2000
Contest.
The winner will be chosen from more than 2,500 entrants who signed up to
win a prize package and a tour of the Fort Pitt Bridge work site.
PennDOT district engineer Ray Hack said the contest would not have been
the so unique without the support of many area businesses.
"In true Pittsburgher fashion, these businesses rolled out the red carpet
for area motorists who have been working around many road construction
projects," Hack said. "The generosity of these companies helped to create the
most exciting road construction contest ever seen."
The official list of prizes the lucky winner will receive today is as
