Companies Will Share New Headsets.com Web Site
SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Hello Direct, Inc.
(Nasdaq: HELO), the leading developer and business-to-business direct marketer
of desktop telephony and equipment interface products, announced today it has
signed an exclusive marketing agreement with Headsets.com, Inc., the leading
headset discounter in America. The alliance provides each partner with an
expanded online presence in a new, shared Web site dedicated to headsets
(an interim version of the site can be found at http://www.headsets.com ).
On the new Web site, customers will be able to purchase the entire
Headsets.com product line, including Hello Direct's fully factory
reconditioned proprietary products for which, under terms of the agreement,
Headsets.com becomes the exclusive online marketer. Approximately half of the
new Headsets.com home page will be dedicated to other Hello Direct products
and services. Customers who click on items in the Hello Direct area will be
linked to the appropriate pages on the Hello Direct Web site where they may
purchase the products. Headsets.com will earn a commission on all such
referred purchases. Initially, several Hello Direct signature products will
be offered on the Headsets.com site including the Cordless(TM) XLT headset,
Ultralight(R) EX headset with SuperPro(TM) amplifier, and LineStein(R) analog-
to-digital equipment adapter.
