CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reliv
International, Inc. (Nasdaq: RELV), a developer, manufacturer and marketer
of a proprietary line of nutritional supplements addressing basic
nutrition, wellness needs, weight management and sports nutrition, today
named Javier Ramirez Madrid to be national sales manager of Reliv NOW de
Mexico.
Ramirez will be responsible for increasing sales and expanding Reliv's
distributor base in Mexico. He also will remain in his position as sales
director for US/Hispanic markets. In his new role, he'll work out of both
Mexico and St. Louis.
"Javier has done an outstanding job expanding Reliv's business in the
U.S. Hispanic community," said R. Scott Montgomery, Reliv senior vice
president of worldwide operations. "His success in the United States
combined with his previous success working with Reliv in Mexico made him
the perfect candidate for this position."
Ramirez, a native of Mexico, joined Reliv seven years ago and spent his
first four years establishing the Reliv Ambassador program in Mexico. In
2004, he moved to the United States where he has overseen rapid growth of
Reliv's business in the Hispanic community.
Prior to joining Reliv, Ramirez worked in the network marketing
industry for eight years in Mexico. He was an independent distributor for
five years and then joined a corporate staff in sales and training.
