FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fort Worth Chapter of
International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) has announced that
Weslynn Martin will speak on "Effective Listening: The Other Communication
Skill" at the September 7th Petroleum Club meeting. Ms. Martin will talk
about her research, listening skills everyone can adopt, and how to move from
unconscious incompetence to unconscious competence.
Ms. Martin is a former Professor of Communication at Rockhurst University
in Kansas City where she held the endowed chair in Interpersonal
Communication. She currently resides in the DFW area where she consults
clients on presentational speaking for personal effectiveness, leadership
communication, and listening to lead and mentor.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 7th, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
at the Petroleum Club, Carter-Burgess Plaza, 777 Main Street. 39th Floor.
