FABmaster GOLD for Test, part of its new generation FABmaster GOLD computer
integrated manufacturing software for board manufacturing and test.
New features include user programmable test profiles, icon-driven probe
selection, automatically linked board testability report and CAD graphics,
color graphics showing probe shapes (chisel, crown, tulip, spear, etc.),
automatic rule conformity check after interactive edits to probe locations,
hierarchical search engine for probes, nets, pins, shapes and parts using a
wide range of filters, and graphics tools for eliminating spurious access
problems by offsetting probes from centers of SMD lands and correcting
component body limits.
FABmaster GOLD for Test is fully compatible with earlier versions of
FABmaster software for Test and adds internet ready flowchart navigation,
further streamlining the automated process of going from PCB design and bill
of materials, through fixture design or flying probe selection, to offline
test program generation. It handles data from all leading CAD systems,
displaying it graphically, and supports over 50 incircuit testers, flying
probe testers and inspection systems.
