BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Colonial Properties Trust
(NYSE: CLP), announced that its Board of Trustees declared third quarter 2003
dividends for the Company's preferred shares.
The Series C Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares dividend of $0.5781
per preferred share will be paid on September 30, 2003 to shareholders of
record on September 15, 2003, representing an ex-dividend date of September
11, 2003. The dividend on the Company's 9.25% Series C Preferred Shares
represents an annualized dividend of $2.3125 per share.
The Series D Depositary Shares, each representing 1/10 of a Share of
Series D Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares, dividend of $0.5078 per
preferred depositary share will be paid on October 31, 2003 to shareholders of
record on October 15, 2003, representing an ex-dividend date of October 13,
2003. The dividend on the Company's 8.125% Series D Preferred Shares
represents an annualized dividend of $2.03125 per share.
