NEW YORK, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- The following is the Invocation by Keith
Butler, remarks as prepared for delivery at the 2004 Republican National
Convention:

Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, we come to you today, thanking you
for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us here in America.
You have blessed us to be the most prosperous nation on the face of the
earth, and we give you the glory.
We give thanks to you because more families in America are enjoying the
benefits of this nation's economic recovery. We pray today for the safety of
our men and women in our armed services, those who are protecting our freedom
and providing freedom for others.
We pray for our law enforcement and intelligence personnel here in
America.
We ask that you provide them with wisdom, strength, discernment and safety
as they protect our nation.
We ask that you continue to provide strength to President Bush and the
First family.
Guide, protect, and grant wisdom to him as he leads America and the world
against the forces of evil.
Give wisdom, as well, to members of Congress, state, and local officials
throughout our land.
And Father, we pray your will is accomplished in this convention and
throughout this great country.
    Amen.
