for the QNX RTOS, Version 2.1 will begin shipping on September 14 from
Metrowerks, a Motorola Company. With this release, the software development
product joins the mobileGT platform, creating a single, unified development
system for mobileGT-based development of Driver Information System (DIS)
solutions.

CodeWarrior for the QNX RTOS, Version 2.1, which supports the QNX SDK 6.1
for Windows, provides a complete set of tools to write, compile, and debug
applications for the popular QNX RTOS in a single, graphical environment.
CodeWarrior for QNX provides powerful application level debugging that is QNX
process- and thread-aware, providing views of all processes and threads within
QNX applications.

CodeWarrior for the QNX RTOS, Version 2.1 is priced at US$4,995 per
license (MSRP). The product begins shipping on September 14, 2001.
CodeWarrior for QNX, Version 2.1 will be available directly from Metrowerks,
from Metrowerks authorized distributors, and from QNX Software Systems.
The mobileGT Standard Development Platform for the MPC823 is priced at
$19,995 and includes a full license of CodeWarrior for the QNX RTOS, Version
2.1, the QNX Windows SDK, Version 6.1 for Windows, IBM VisualAge MicroEdition,
Version 1.4, and Embedded Planet's RPX Lite Single Board Computer. Annual
technical support contracts are priced at $4,995. The Platform will ship in
late September of 2001. The mobileGT Standard Development Platform for the
MPC823 is available directly from Metrowerks and from Metrowerks authorized
distributors.
