Music Special Features Hottest New Acts in Country Music
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- High Five Entertainment (HFE)
will bring the hottest new acts in country music to TNN on October 26 at
9 p.m. ET/PT. "Live at the Wildhorse" features Chris Cagle, Carolyn Dawn
Johnson, Blake Shelton, Cyndi Thomson, Trick Pony and Phil Vassar. The
special will be taped live September 5 at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville.
"This is going to be a great show for country music fans," said Martin
Fischer, president of HFE. "You can't turn on the radio or CMT without
hearing or seeing these acts. Each one has had a major hit this summer, and
it's going to be terrific to see them together. The electricity of these
artists and their music will make for great television."
During the taping of the special, Chris Cagle will perform his hits
"Laredo" and "My Love Goes On and On," while Carolyn Dawn Johnson, who
received 10 Canadian Music Association Award nominations, will sing "Georgia"
and "Complicated." Blake Shelton will stir up the crowd with his
chart-topping smash "Austin" and "All Over Me." Trick Pony will perform their
hits, "Pour Me" and "On A Night Like This." Cyndi Thomson will hit the stage
with the one of the year's most popular ballads, "What I Really Meant to Say,"
as well as "I'm Gone." Singer/songwriter Phil Vassar will spark the crowd
with his summer anthem, "Six Pack Summer," and "Just Another Day In Paradise."
