Retailer receives more medals than any other supermarket chain
LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Ralphs manufactured dairy products
were recently honored with 96 Gold medals for excellence at this year's Los
Angeles County Fair.
Each of the company's gold medal winning products was rated best in its
category for texture, flavor and packaging quality.
In addition to the 96 Gold medals, Ralphs won 29 Silver and 21 Bronze
medals for a total of 146 medals -- more than any other Southern California
supermarket chain.

manufacturer and the outstanding dedication of the people we have on our

Ralphs manufactured frozen dessert products led the way with 66 Gold
medals. Next were Ralphs Yogurts, which received 13 Golds. An additional 17
Gold medals were awarded for the company's milk, sour cream, cheese and
butter products.
The award-winning products can be found on Ralphs store shelves under
the Company's Ralphs, Ralphs Active Lifestyle, Cool Classics, Deluxe and
Private Selection labels.
Ralphs manufactured dairy products are produced and packaged at the
company's creamery facilities in Compton and Riverside.
