VANCOUVER, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Global Uranium Corporation
(the "Company") (GU:TSX-V) (FRANKFURT:B1H) is pleased to announce that it
has appointed Timea Carlsen as Chief Executive Officer and Alnesh Mohan as
Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Heard will remain as the
Company's President and director and Mr. Shynkaryk (former CFO) will remain
a director of the Company.

    Ms. Carlsen has been in the financial industry for approximately 14
years. Her previous experience included working as registered
representative at Canaccord Capital in Vancouver as well as Yorkton
Securities in Toronto. In 2002, Ms. Carlsen left the brokerage industry to
work as a consultant to public companies in the resource sector, providing
administrative, corporate communications and investor relations services.

    Mr. Mohan is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant
(Illinois) with extensive experience in the mining sector, including
assisting junior resource companies with their financial reporting,
corporate governance and other regulatory requirements. He has over
thirteen years of accounting, auditing, and tax experience working within
the Big 4 public accounting firms, as well as providing management services
to publicly traded companies. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration
from Simon Fraser University and a Masters of Science in Taxation from
Golden Gate University.

    The Company also announces that, in accordance with the Company's stock
option plan, it has granted to its directors, officers, employees and
consultants incentive stock options to purchase up to an aggregate of
775,000 common shares exercisable on or before September 4, 2013 at a price
of $0.10 per share.
