J. Harper has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of
Securitas' U.S. aviation services company, Globe Aviation Services
Corporation.
From 1991 through 1997, Mr. Harper led Globe during a period of
unprecedented growth in revenue, profitability and customer satisfaction. His
familiarity with the company and its clients will be invaluable as Globe
executes a strategy to lead the marketplace in aviation security and other
aviation human resource services.
Securitas AB acquired Globe through the acquisition of Burns International
Services Corporation in September 2000. Through this appointment, Securitas
confirmed its long-term commitment to the aviation services industry.
Securitas now operates in 124 airports throughout the U.S. and Europe and
employs over 10,000 dedicated aviation service personnel.
