HOUSTON, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EGL Eagle Global Logistics
(Nasdaq: EAGL), today announced the company has recently been chosen to
partner with LOUD Technologies Inc., one of the world's largest
distributors of branded pro audio and music products. The new two-year,
multi-million dollar contract designates EGL as the primary supplier of
domestic air services for North America, including major domestic origins
in Seattle, Boston and St. Louis.
LOUD Technologies, which produces a wide range of musical instruments
and professional audio products, will utilize EGL's flexibility and
expertise in providing ground and expedited services for the musical
equipment distribution industry. With the addition of two major shipping
locations, EGL is expected to transport several million pounds of
miscellaneous music equipment.
