(OTC Bulletin Board: HXBM) today announced that Timothy Falla, Ph.D, Chief
Scientific Officer, will present "Innate Immunity: A Rich Source of
Bioactivity" at the PCITX Product Development Conference 2006. The
conference is part of the HBA Health & Beauty America Exposition and
Educational Conference to be held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
in New York City on September 12th through the 14th. Dr. Falla's
presentation, which will take place on the 12th at 2:15pm, will be part of
a product development panel discussion focusing on "New Developments in
High Performance Ingredients."
The innate structure of the immune system of mammals, which is
comprised in part of small bioactive peptides, allows for the protection of
exposed and epithelial surfaces from infection as well as the stimulation
of the necessary recovery processes after injury. Dr. Falla will discuss
