Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) has announced the opening of The Westin Rotterdam.
The new hotel is Starwood's third hotel in The Netherlands.
Located in the heart of the business and financial district of Rotterdam,
the newly-constructed, 231-room Westin is situated opposite the city's Central
Station, offering guests simple access to high-speed train transport to
Brussels, Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam. The hotel is connected with The
Concert & Congress Center "De Doelen" via a skybridge, is adjacent to the
upscale Plaza shopping center and casino.
The Westin Rotterdam is the first hotel in Europe to feature the
extraordinary "Heavenly Bed" in all rooms and suites. Introduced in the U.S.
last year, Westin's Heavenly Bed features a custom designed pillow-top
mattress set, cozy down blanket, high quality, high thread count linens, crisp
white duvet coverlet and five queen size and king size pillows.
Inside a world of luxury and refinement, the hotel also features six
modular meeting rooms and a full service restaurant.
