Alliance Gaming to Display Over 200 Unique Slot Titles, Advanced Systems Technology at Global Gaming Expo

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alliance Gaming Corp.
(NYSE: AGI) announced today that its Bally Gaming and Systems business unit
and SDG product group plan to present more than 200 unique game titles at the
2004 Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, including titles drawn from such popular
television shows as Hee Haw(R) and Rocky & Bullwinkle(R) and unique offerings
such as Chippendales(R) and Playboy Get Lucky Wheel(TM).
The Global Gaming Expo (G2E), the gaming industry's largest trade show,
offers Alliance Gaming an unparalleled opportunity to showcase a wide variety
of new products and technology from Bally Gaming, Bally Systems and SDG. G2E
is set for Oct. 5-7, 2004 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the "Go Big
Red Bally" theme will be utilized to spotlight approximately 250 machines and
210 unique titles, of which more than 130 are new and being shown for the
first time, on display in nearly 11,000 square feet of space.
"I am excited about the innovation from our Game Development and
Engineering groups," said Richard Haddrill, incoming President and Chief
Executive Officer of Alliance Gaming. "Between Bally Gaming, Bally Systems
and SDG, we have the widest array of products we've ever shown in what is
certainly one of the largest display areas in the history of the Las Vegas
gaming show."
Bally Gaming is introducing a variety of new offerings in the wide-area
progressive category, including the new $100,000 Cartoon Jackpots(TM) link
featuring a combination of established cartoon-themed slot titles such as
Betty Boop(TM), Popeye(R), Blondie(R) & Dagwood and a new series of slots
featuring cartoon characters Rocky & Bullwinkle and Felix The Cat(TM). New
titles will also be on display for existing wide-area progressive links
QuarterMillion$(TM) and Cash For Life, including Lucky Wheel Roll The
Dice(TM), S&H Greenstamps(TM), Penny Frenzy(TM), Playboy Get Lucky Wheel(TM)
and Hee Haw, the cornball comedy that was a weekly television staple for
nearly 30 years and has now come to life as a new penny progressive on the
$250,000 QuarterMillion$ link.
S&H Greenstamps will also be on display equipped with the proprietary
PrizeCenter(TM) technology that allows players to use their cash-out tickets
to shop for a variety of unique products at a nearby high-speed Internet
kiosk. By taking the original concept of saving S&H Greenstamps and now
applying modern technology, PrizeCenter products that will be available for
players will include rewards ranging from a Hank Aaron-autographed baseball to
Jamaican cruises to a 60-inch high-definition television. In total, hundreds
of different premium prizes are available for lucky players.
Bally Gaming will also present a number of new titles based on its
Saturday Night Live(TM) series, including a Blues Brothers video slot, "Super
Frenzy" versions of Church Lady and Wayne's World and a Win Myers' Money,
based on the hilarious sketch characters portrayed on the show by funnyman
Mike Myers.
Known as "The Reel Slot Machine Company," Bally will also unveil dozens of
new reel-spinning titles. In a nod to the ladies and a perfect complement to
Bally's Playboy brand, Chippendales will be featured in a "Super Frenzy"
version that utilizes exciting artwork mimicking the visuals of a ladies'
night out at a live Chippendales show.
Bally will also showcase a video slot version of the popular "Bejeweled"
Internet-based game. In this fast-paced game, players try to line up three or
more jewels of the same color or type by swapping adjacent jewels.
Along with exciting new individual titles, Bally will use this year's G2E
gathering to introduce new technologically advanced video gaming platforms
designed to enhance player interaction and expand game content. The powerful
Alpha(TM) and Game Maker(R) II gaming platforms will debut on a new,
ergonomically designed cabinet -- the M9000 -- created especially to improve
the gaming experience for players. Alpha will also be available as an easy
future upgrade to the established EVO(TM) VIDEO platform on the V8700 cabinet.
As in previous years, the Bally Systems division will again be featured
prominently at this year's G2E gathering. Bally Systems will display and
demonstrate an array of advanced technologies for the global casino industry,
including the new iVIEW(TM) interactive marketing display, player-centric
bonusing capabilities with eBONUS(TM) and electronic credit transfer with
eFUND(TM). In addition, there will be live demos of the breakthrough MindPlay
21(TM) and MPBac table games systems, as well as demos of the ACSC(TM),
CMS(R), Casino Marketplace, CashMaster(TM), MCC and SDS(R) product lines.
Recognized as the industry leader with approximately 279,000 game
monitoring units and more than 219 casino customers worldwide -- including
more than 90 locations running Bally eTICKET(TM) on more than 83,000 slot
machines -- the Bally Systems product line offers slot machine cash
monitoring, cashless, accounting, security, maintenance, marketing,
promotional and bonusing capabilities, enabling operators to accurately
analyze performance and accountability while providing an enhanced level of
customer service.
The SDG product group will display its systems expertise and more than
60 unique game titles for both Class III and II gaming markets, focusing on
games for Washington and Oklahoma in particular. Along with a wide variety of
Bally titles and its signature Auction Fever(TM) game, SDG will display
popular titles from an array of other leading manufacturers that have been
responsible for much of the content SDG has placed in traditional Class III
casinos and Native American gaming locations over the last several years.
