Increased Customer Focus and Expansion of Opportunities Cited
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Triad Guaranty Inc.
(Nasdaq: TGIC) announced that its subsidiary, Triad Guaranty Insurance
Corporation, has reconfigured its sales divisions and hired Peter May as Vice
President, Northeast Division Sales Manager. Wayne Doan, previously Vice
President, North Division Sales Manager has assumed responsibility for the new
Midwest Division. Both positions are effective immediately.
In his position, May will be responsible for all sales and business
development in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut,
Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania (not including
Pittsburgh, which is part of the Midwest Division). Doan will have
responsibility for Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio,
Kentucky and West Virginia. May and Doan will report to Doug Beaty, Senior
Vice President, National Sales Manager, in carrying out their
responsibilities. May is based in Barrington, Rhode Island. Doan will remain
based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Triad's current Southeast Sales
Division will continue to be managed by Wade Hamby and the current West Sales
Division by Dick Woolsey.

May previously worked for Union Federal Savings Bank, North Providence,
Rhode Island from 2004, as Vice President, National Correspondent/Wholesale
Lending. From 1994 to 2004, he was employed by The PMI Group, Inc., Walnut
Creek, Calif. as Area Sales Manager, Northeast Region. Previous employers
include Monarch Mortgage Company, Waltham, Mass. as Vice President,
Correspondent Lending; Fannie Mae, Philadelphia, Penn. as Senior
Negotiator/Account Executive, Housing Impact Division; and the Massachusetts
Housing Finance Agency as Senior Development Analyst, Home Ownership
Opportunity Program.
