LAS VEGAS, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Bally Gaming and Systems, a
business unit of Alliance Gaming Corp. (NYSE: AGI), announced today that it
has entered into an agreement with Boyd Gaming Corp. (NYSE: BYD) to provide a
complete systems and bonusing solution covering nearly 5,000 slot machines at
two of its Las Vegas locations, the South Coast Hotel and Casino now under
construction and expected to open in early 2006 and another major locals
property.
The agreement calls for Bally Gaming and Systems to install complete slot
and casino management systems at two of Boyd Gaming's Las Vegas properties and
equip a total of nearly 5,000 slot machines, including 2,450 slot machines at
the South Coast, with Bally iVIEW interactive touch-screen displays and the
new Bally Power Bonusing(TM) technology.
Boyd Gaming will utilize Bally Power Rewards(TM) (formerly known as
eBONUS) from the suite of Bally Power Bonusing products to create a player-
centric bonusing environment that will provide an enhanced level of rewards
and excitement for Boyd Gaming casino guests. Boyd Gaming also plans to
utilize the Bally iVIEW displays embedded in every slot machine to convey
player loyalty, bonusing and marketing messages directly to the player while
seated at the games.
