Parker Creates New Leadership Role for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Appoints Officer

CLEVELAND, OH UNITED STATES
    CLEVELAND, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Parker Hannifin
Corporation (NYSE: PH), the global leader in motion and control
technologies, today announced the creation of a new leadership role in the
company of President - Europe, Middle East and Africa Group. Charly
Saulnier has been selected to assume responsibility for this newly created
position following his appointment as an officer by the company's Board of
Directors.

    Saulnier will have leadership responsibility for Parker's sales
companies in the region, as well as coordination responsibility for
functional groups such as information technology, human resources, finance,
legal, and supply chain. Mr. Saulnier will be located at the company's new
European headquarters in Etoy, Switzerland.
