Quality System Documents High Performance Standards of Hardware Services

ATLANTA, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- IMS HEALTH Strategic Technologies
announced today that its Hardware Services unit has achieved International
Organization for Standards (ISO) 9002 certification, a detailed process of
documenting the dependability and consistency of service quality provided to
customers in the U.S.
To become certified under the ISO 9002 System, the IMS HEALTH Strategic
Technologies' Hardware Services unit formulated and implemented procedures for
improving performance against 18 separate standards. Internal audit teams
regularly measured progress and development of the system during a six-month
period, which was followed by a final registration audit by an ISO accredited
certification team that recommended certification to the Registrar
Accreditation Board (RAB). RAB granted and will maintain the ISO 9002
certification.
