Raytheon Continuing to Cooperate with SEC Inquiry
 
    LEXINGTON, Mass., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raytheon Company
(NYSE: RTN) announced today that the Securities and Exchange Commission has
issued a formal order in connection with its inquiry into certain accounting
practices at Raytheon Aircraft Company first disclosed by the Company in
January 2003. The Company is continuing to cooperate fully with the SEC's
inquiry.
