about to begin at BURGER KING(R) restaurants across the country -- making it
simple, and easy for fans across the country to get free music. Starting
September 6 through October 3, 2004, or while supplies last, BURGER KING(R)
restaurants and America Online, Inc. are giving away one free music download
with every purchase of a made hot and fresh your way Original WHOPPER(R)
sandwich. And it's double the music with the purchase of an Original DOUBLE
WHOPPER(R), as guests can download two of their favorite songs and enjoy food
and music their way.

The free music downloads are available with the purchase of an Original
WHOPPER(R) at any U.S. BURGER KING(R) restaurants. Guests then log on to
http://www.haveityourway.com where they can enter the unique alphanumeric code found
on the Original WHOPPER(R) wrapper to receive a free music download from AOL
Music. The site will offer a catalog of 700,000 songs, through AOL's
partnership with leading music provider MusicNet, so consumers can choose from
a wide range of music including new releases and original tracks from
Sessions@AOL. The redemption codes are valid through October 17, 2004. Guests
with AOL(R) accounts can also log on to the service to access Sessions@AOL,
which features original appearances and exclusive interviews from today's
hottest artists such as LL Cool J and Ashlee Simpson, as well as Broadband
Rocks(TM), AOL Music's weekly concert series featuring live performances by
Usher, Avril Lavigne and more or subscribe to MusicNet@AOL for unlimited
access to songs to stream and download.

A Multi-faceted Marketing Campaign
The HAVE IT YOUR WAY(R) music promotion is supported by a multi-faceted
integrated marketing campaign that includes national broadcast and print
advertising, radio promotions, non-traditional media and event placements, on-
line interaction (http://www.haveityourway.com) and public relations. The
advertising, by Crispin Porter + Bogusky, features three young men, creatively
called "WHOPPERHEADS(R)," in an old 1970's-style van as they search for their
favorite sandwich at a BURGER KING(R) restaurant.
A second campaign, aimed at the African-American audience and created by
UniWorld Group, Inc., revives the look and feel of classic '70s music
commercials in two tongue-in-cheek spots. Additional commercials aimed at the
Hispanic market have also been created by Bromley Communications. And, the
marketing campaign will have a distinct grass roots feel to it, as street
teams are deployed in select local markets to distribute free BURGER KING-
branded CD-ROMs.
